This August, we’re packing the car, clearing the diary, and heading out on the road to spend time with the people who make ADIA what it is — our members.
From 10–14 August, we’ll be travelling across several regions of the UK, visiting member companies, meeting engineers and business owners face to face, and having proper conversations away from emails, phones and inboxes.
Why we’re doing it
ADIA has always been about people, not just paperwork. While online meetings and emails are useful, nothing beats sitting down together, seeing how businesses operate day to day, and understanding the real challenges members face on the ground.
This road trip is about:
-
Strengthening relationships with existing members
-
Seeing member premises and operations first-hand
-
Listening to feedback and ideas
-
Offering informal support and guidance
-
Simply catching up over a coffee or lunch
No presentations, no pressure. Just real conversations.
Where we’re heading
During the week, we’ll be travelling through and around:
-
Oxford
-
Bath
-
Birmingham
-
BOOKED Wales
-
BOOKED Manchester/Liverpool
If you’re based in or near any of these areas and would like us to visit your premises, meet for lunch, or just grab a coffee and chat, we’d love to hear from you.
Scotland & Ireland visits
We’re also keen to meet with Scottish and Irish members and companies. As these visits require flights, they’ll be scheduled for the following week. If you’d like to arrange a meeting, please get in touch and we’ll work out the details.
Want to meet us?
If you’d like to be part of the August road trip — whether that’s a site visit, an informal meeting, or a quick catch-up — just drop us an email (laura@theadia.co.uk). We’ll coordinate timings and locations closer to the date.
We’re really looking forward to getting out and about, putting faces to names, and spending time with members across the UK and beyond.
