When it comes to automatic doors, access control, gates and barriers, choosing the right company goes far beyond the initial install — it’s about ensuring long-term safety, compliance and reliability.
Across the UK, businesses are placing greater importance on working with specialists who understand the full lifecycle of these systems. From specification and installation through to servicing, fault finding and upgrades, the right support makes a measurable difference.
The Automatic Door Installation Association brings together a network of trusted, specialist companies supporting projects of all sizes — from single entrance upgrades to nationwide rollouts.
As part of this, ADIA members are supported through structured training designed to develop and demonstrate competence across the industry. This includes courses such as BS EN 16005, Installation, Service & Maintenance and Industrial Doors, with many programmes accredited by City & Guilds — reinforcing the quality and credibility behind the training.
Engineers who have completed these programmes can be viewed on the DoorSafe Register, providing a clear, accessible way to verify competence.
