If you fit any of the following categories, you may join the ADIA.
  • an individual* or a company who fits automatic doors,
  • maintain and service automatic doors,
  • build or sell automatic door components,
  • a facilities management company that needs to study to BS EN16005 to recognise automatic door issues,
  • a security or access control firm that works directly or close to automatic doors

*Should you be an individual who is working for an automatic door company and wishing to come into membership as a sole trader, you must pay for the services, not your company. You will also be who is promoted, not your company. This will be reviewed upon application

Each application is reviewed individually.

We offer a range of benefits, discounts and services to save our members time and money but not just for the office! We also have discounts for everyday uses too!

BS EN16005

We have the BS EN16005 accredited by City and Guilds and in partnership with CSCS. The ADIA have and are continuing to promote to the head offices and legal departments of retailers, restaurants, bars, NHS authorities, architects and more! There is also a course for office staff and for experienced engineers.

We send our members updates via our newsletter and email on what is going on in the association as well as everyone updated online with events and changes within the industry.

We have meetings both formal and informal to get to know our members face to face allowing us to discuss what their needs are and what they want from an association. We also give members opportunities to network at our events.

We are not run by a committee. Decisions and opinions are taken into consideration at meetings. We also ask their opinion on what you want for your events and how you want the association to move forward.

We educate our members in what they need to know within in the industry with our courses. We are always looking for ways to develop the knowledge and growth of the industry and your business.
