As a company who installs, maintains or supplies automatic doors, you know how important they are in everyday life. But do your potential clients?

Those who do not have automatic doors on their property are potentially breaking the law, which can cause a wide range of issues for the company in question.

We in the UK have over 11 million people suffering from limiting long-term illnesses and disabilities [1], not to mention the millions of elderly persons. Therefore, it is the ADIA’s duty to educate companies who ignore the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). No access, no customers, no money.

This is why we are creating our Directory, upgrading our online Directory and why we have written to thousands of your potential customers telling them about you.

It may be all well and good them having automatic doors, but are they safe?

This is another question that property owners tend to ignore. Luckily for you, our members, we have the DoorSafe Register that shows what companies have the BS EN16005 accredited by City & Guilds.

So, remember when you are talking to potential clients remind them that they need YOUR doors because you’re an ADIA member. A member who receives updates on the latest within the industry, a member who has the BS EN16005 accredited by City and Guilds and access to a range of training and NVQ opportunities.

Remember to make yourself stand out; get trained, update your company description and get a brand new website at a discounted rate (log into Members Area for details).
