We’ve written in the past about the benefits of associations and the Automatic Door Installation Association. But we’ve been doing some research and looking into why people join an association. Based on those factors saw that we reflect those needs companies want when joining. We offer a range of services BUT these are what always popped up in our research:

NETWORKING
Creating professional relationships is important and joining an association allows you to do this. From this, you are able to support and help other members in reaching your professional goals.
Our events, especially our Annual General Meeting mean you can participate and have the opportunity to learn about breaking news in the industry, learn “best practices” or new ideas, hear about key achievers in business and also meet and create new ideas with others who are also looking to share and learn new information.
Another advantage of improving your network is that you may find a counsellor to help you with your professional needs or you may be in a position to become a mentor to someone else.

The ADIA provide an enormous amount of access to information and knowledge development such as our quarterly newsletters, various courses and automatic door guides written by experts in the auto door field.
We are a source of information; we offer links to publications, and awards for persons achieving excellence in their field. No matter how involved in automatic doors you are, staying on top of all of these issues is important.
PUBLICITY
Being a part of the ADIA opens up plenty of free advertising opportunities. We offer our members a free listing on our online directory as well as in our printed directory (sent to over 3500 companies). We also offer the opportunity for you to place advertisements in our Directory for a small fee.
Not only that but supplier members can also advertise special deals to Installers through our quarterly newsletter. Members can also publish blog posts on our website!
In addition, we list all of our members and their engineers who have completed the BS EN16005 and are accredited by City and Guilds through the DoorSafe Register.
As many of you know we have created databases of the main offices and contacts of retailers, hotels, bars, restaurants, architects, county councils, NHS head offices and more… Overall, approximately 3500. We have not only written to them informing them about the importance of the BS EN16005 and how their premises etc. required SAFE automatic doors BUT we are also sending our Directory to them.
