As many of you are aware the ADIA have recently had their Trailblazers meeting to discuss the course of action to take with the recent expression of interest put in by RTR and their technical committee to BIS (The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills).
As the scheme is not association driven but employer driven, it is important that the whole industry is aware of what is going to be the future of the apprenticeships and Trailblazers. We have been made aware that many employers and ADSA members have not been made aware of this expression of interest made to BIS neither been invited to join the committee.
The ADIA are campaigning that members and non-members alike within the automatic door sector put forward their interest to attend the Trailblazer’s meetings arranged by Paul Watson.
We will be sending Paul Watson a list of employers and contact information that are wishing to be a part of this scheme to ensure everyone who wishes to be a part of this is invited.
