Six years ago in October 2013, the ADIA was born. As a small association, we discovered plenty of hardships but still persevered. We tried lots of new ventures, some worked, others didn’t. But since our creation, we have achieved so much and we couldn’t have done it without our members as well as the many others that have supported our vision. We are so happy with what our little team and members have accomplished.

For example, we have:

  • 200 members subscribed to the Association as from October 2019
  • Trained over 700 engineers in the BS EN16005 accredited by City & Guilds
  • Got all of our practical courses accredited by City & Guilds
  • Partnered with CSCS in creating an ADIA BS EN16005 CSCS card (changes happening in 2020)
  • Grown our benefits without increasing the cost of membership
  • Built a shop selling hundreds of ADIA test boxes, force gauges and more to ADIA members
  • Created a Service and Maintenance Course
  • Created an Access Control Course
  • Launched individual courses and Diplomas in Servicing, Repair, Surveying & Installation of Automatic Doors
  • Developed several partnerships with companies to help members grow and save money including Citation
  • Sent out over 2,000 Directories since 2015
  • Launched the DoorSafe Register (to be updated in 2020)
  • Gone from giving Installer members just one free BS EN16005 when joining to giving them one free course of their choice per year.

MEMBERS

  • An extra £50 off your first year’s annual subscription:

    Installers £850 + VAT (instead of £900 + VAT, that means you get £150 + VAT for your first year)

    Sole Trader at £150 + VAT (normally £200 + VAT)

    Suppliers at £550 + VAT (normally £600 + VAT)
  • With annual subscriptions only
  • From 2019 – 2020 membership only
  • Application form and payment must be made before 30th November for offer to be given.
  • For member applications from 31st October
  • Installer Subscriptions can be changed to monthly after one year
  • Minimum Installer membership is 24 months
