Our round back style doors offer anti-finger trap protection. This is achieved by the hinge edge of the door being operated by a concealed transom-mounted closer and a bottom pivot. This allows the round back door style to open and close without a gap in which fingers could get trapped.
This option is ideal for schools, hospitals, care homes and the like.
Our continuous hinge offers a more sturdy option. This is usually coupled with a heavy-duty, surface mounted closer or an automatic doors closer.
We tend to offer the continuous hinge doors for installs in places such as communal entrances on blocks of flats, roof access doors, office block doors etc. Usually where the door could be more susceptible to vandalism and abuse.
The composite door option with an AV2E locking device is a multi-point locking system that can be operated by a door entry system.
As these doors have a more ‘front door’ style, we have used this option for places such as retirement flats or apartments where the traditional door style is preferred.
